Debby DeRosa

As a military wife I arrived in Sierra Vista/Ft. Huachuca in January 1975. I am the proud mother of two grown daughters and have two precious grandsons. Happily married to my second husband Jim DeRosa in 1994, he is the owner of DeRosa Construction Company.

Upon the loving support and urging from realtors, family and past clients, I opened my own full service Real Estate Company: Preference Properties, LLC in January 2008 so that I once again have the ability to offer Professional Property Management along with listing and selling real estate. In January 2012 I was able to hire my first assistant Property Manager, Nancy Dwiggins.

I have served in several positions on the Board of Realtors throughout the years:

Community Service:

I have been an active working Member of San Pedro Kiwanis/Just Kids, Inc. since 1990. Through the years I have served in positions of: Director, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and President (4 times as President on the Just Kids Board and twice on the San Pedro Kiwanis board. Current President of Just Kids, Inc.), As a very active community based club I have chaired or participated in the following Kiwanis events:

I obtained my Certified EMT status in 1999 and worked with Fry Fire District 2000 to 2005. Also became a certified CPR Instructor for Health Care Professionals and taught for the department classes on Adult, Child and Infant CPR.

CCCCI Cochise County Council for CASA, Inc. Board member since 2004. I have served as a member, secretary, Vice President and am the current President. The Cochise County Council for CASA, Inc., is a volunteer organization consisting of a Board of Directors that coordinates its activities with the local CASA Coordinator, is to advocate on behalf of and financially support the abused and neglected children of Cochise County, especially those children who are in the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program.  This will be accomplished by conducting fundraising activities, seeking grant and contribution opportunities, and by conducting public awareness endeavors and recruiting volunteers for the CASA program.

I strongly believe even though we all have our lumps in life it is vitally important to give back to our community!

I look forward to meeting new clients and helping them find their new homes!
